Fidelity Investments FidBits

As the lead content strategist and writer for FidBits, I built the editorial calendar and content strategy from the ground up. I worked with stakeholders and SMEs across the firm to develop timely, relevant content, pulling in research to ensure it aligned with what consumers care about most. While primarily a B2C email, I also collaborated with plan sponsors (B2B) to review topics and help them opt in.

FidBits reaches 14M+ participants, 8 times per year, with open rates of 50–55%, consistently exceeding industry and firm benchmarks.


Life Events Email Campaign

Many people see Fidelity as just a retirement provider, unaware of the tools and resources available for life’s big moments. To bridge this gap, I helped create a strategy for a series of eight emails designed to support individuals through life events such as college planning, marriage/partnership, home buying and selling, and starting a family

Collaborating with an art director, I leveraged market research and audience insights to create clear, engaging content tailored to their needs. The emails used lifestyle imagery and conversational, jargon-free language to make complex topics more accessible. 

The general email saw a strong 57% open rate, whereas life event-specific emails drove even higher engagement at 75–85%.
